OSHA updated it’s walking-Working Surface regulations early in 2017.

Here is what you need to know:

  • Employers are required provide fall protection systems
  • Employers must train employees on fall protection and equipment hazards
  • Work performed within 15 feet of the roof edge requires the employer to protect the worker from falling by using a guard rail, safety net system, travel restrain system, or personal fall arrest system.
